This competition is played on the All Weather hockey pitch at Garryduff Sports Centre in Rochestown. The hockey pitch is completely surrounded by a 25 foot high net. Each 7 A-Side pitch is 25 meters wide and 60 meters long. The pitches are separated by a three foot high net and there is one meter between the sidelines on adjoining pitches. Showers and changing rooms are also available.

Match duration is 60 minutes and the total cost for the season is 795 euro. The competition is played at 9.00 on Thursday evenings.

The matches are seven a-side with unlimited substitution. All players must be over 40 on the night. There is no limit on squad size. Each league has eight teams, with each team playing the others two times for a total of 14 matches. The matches are refereed by fully qualified referees and each team gets a free match ball.
